The Tastes of Summer
I vacuumed the living room and kitchen and washed the kitchen floor. I was going to do some baking, but Tom came home early from work. They gave them four hours admin. leave. I don’t usually get much done when he is home.
The other day Tom bought a seedless watermelon. There was so much left over that yesterday I made a sorbet with what was left.
With most homemade sorbets, the longer left in the freezer it becomes hard and difficult to scoop. I suggest that if you make a homemade sorbet, let it sit in the freezer for 3-5 hours and then scoop out for service. On the other hand, if it freezes solid, take it out of the freezer for about 15-20 minutes before serving.
