Preparing for Easter

We have been busy getting ready for Easter.  I made bubble gum flavored lollipops and since Tom does such a good job with arranging them for display, I had him arrange the batch I made today.  They look pretty in the little basket.

I made a pineapple upside down cake-

I made a ricotta cheese pie, one of my family’s traditional Easter recipe-

I also made a bolognese (ragù alla bolognese) sauce and earlier this evening Brian decorated eggs-

Carrie is bringing down the ham. I have all the trimmings and fixing to do tomorrow for the ham. We are going to have an egg hunt for Brian and Nicky…Phew! I am tired all ready.

Tom did me the biggest favor today.  He Spring-cleaned the bathrooms and cleaned out the furnace and a/c room.  That is such a big help to me. Thank you, dear hubby.

Happy Easter!

  1. Hi Liz: Those lollipops are lovely. I wouldn’t begin to know how to do that. The eggs are gorgeous and that ricotta pie has me drooling. Any chance you’d share the recipe. Tom is a doll to have done all that cleaning for you. HAPPY EASTER to you all. HUGS
