Today I baked (baked being the optimum word) chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies for Tom and Brian. I cheated, in that I used the cookie dough from Pillsbury. I know that it is hardly worth mentioning since I didn’t make them from scratch. 
Don’t I, at least, get credit for turning the oven on? Happily, Tom and Brian enjoyed the cookies just the same.
Besides pretending to bake cookies, I made a ragù alla bolognese for tomorrow nights supper. I am hoping to get some baking in tomorrow that’s why I made the sauce today.
Tom and I sat out on the front stoop today while Brian played on his race car.
Both Tom and I had a glass of wine while we were enjoying the beautiful fall weather and while the ragu was simmering. Tonight it is down in the 30’s. Brrr!
