I have written and deleted this post six times already. I started it last night and held it in draft. My words and thoughts are so very negative as they have been in the previous posts. In my previous post I mentioned Fascism. I pondered if the left of politics can be called fascists or is it just all-inclusive of the right.
Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance.-George Bernard Shaw
On the other hand-
It is a matter of controversy whether President Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal was directly influenced by fascist economic policies. Mussolini praised the New Deal as “boldly . . . interventionist in the field of economics,” and Roosevelt complimented Mussolini for his “honest purpose of restoring Italy” and acknowledged that he kept “in fairly close touch with that admirable Italian gentleman.” Also, Hugh Johnson, head of the National Recovery Administration, was known to carry a copy of Raffaello Viglione’s pro-Mussolini book, The Corporate State, with him, presented a copy to Labor Secretary Frances Perkins, and, on retirement, paid tribute to the Italian dictator.
Now that I got that out of the way, I am going to step back from being negative for awhile and post a photo effect from PhotoFunia. I found the site and the idea from Inger.
Hi Liz, your not negative, what is is what is. Life is not always a bowl full of cherries and lately it’s been very hard. I have been questioning much also. I do not like the spenulous bill at all! we are gonna go solvent. Big hugs

Hi Liz,
I don’t think you’re being negative at all, just topical.
Isn’t that photo site fun? I love to tinker with it when I have the time.

First of all, the photo thing is so cute! I think it’s great that you write what you think. I often think that’s why I get writer’s block – not saying what I think at risk of offending. I do sometimes visit political blogs and certainly don’t mind hearing it from you. I never met my maternal grandfather, but they say he hated FDR. I like that about him.
PS There are still miles of sidewalks to nowhere about five miles outside my hometown of Monticello, Arkansas. FDR.

Hi Hon,
Please don’t worry about being negative. This is YOUR blog, you should be able to write freely about what you feel. That is basically what a blog is for! I checked out that photo link, I can’t wait to try it.
Hugs and Blessings…

Hi Liz, I don’t find your previous post negative, your thoughts reflect the uncertainty we are facing and the solutions that are being taken. Always looking for new and interesting stuff, I’m off to visit Photofunia. *hugs*

Liz, I really respect the fact that you grabbed the bull by the horns and just hit post. Shoot from the hip. We need all the ideas out there. We need to hear what everyone thinks. You still believe. That’s to be commended. You provide a good balance to me who believes that the foundation of our government is strong but the people running it, all of them, need to go and be replaced by a very different kind of people.
I love that program. It’s a lot of fun.

Hi Liz: I love that photo thing. It’s so cold here. I get so tired of it. Union 107 in Alexander, ME was closed today. They must really be getting it. HUGS
