Maybe Somewhere In Italy

With not having much to post about…

I found another painting I did in oils.  It was stored away in the shed.

After I scanned the picture, the buildings look orange.  In the painting, the building are more golden then they are orange.

I just couldn’t get the angles right on the buildings. Maybe I should have taken some art classes or geometry classes somewhere along the way throughout my life. *smile*

  1. HI Liz, that’s very cute. I’m actually pretty good with angles, I did take a class in school but it was full of boys I was the only girl in it that semester. I hated it, but did learn a few things. I didn’t know I was gonna have to do math though when I took the class. The class was called Drafting. I would very much like to paint. I’ve never had the opportunity to do it yet, but someday! It does look a bit like Italy I have a painting similar in my house. I decorate in Italian themes and I am not Italian, but their art is my favorite and I love their style. I have fruits in my kitchen and I am getting ready to take down the country look wall border and hand a fruit painting over the table and remove the cow photo I have in there so to make it more Italian looking. That will be all be done when the weather is a bit more cooler then today at 100 F that’s to hot for me. Have a wonderful new day Liz! big hugs sweets

  2. Hi Liz: I love your art work. Very Picasso-ish. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Was the cake good with butterscotch chips? I may try that.

I’m glad you’re safe from the floods.

Do you use Firefox instead of IE. Some say Firefox wouldn’t let them use tagboard.

I’d love to start knitting again, but my hands hurt and someone walked off with all my needles. I had a case with hundreds of needles. I’m not about to pay to start all over again.

    Have a great day.
